Hi,

We have recently gone live on IFS and we have a Sales team taking orders over the weekend. Where customers are outside of their terms, it is blocking the sales order from being released.

I don’t want to increase credit limits, but will the Allowed Overdue Days enable the order to be released? Nobody in Finance works at the weekend so the orders can’t be released for production.

Thank you

Hello @JohnP

Yes, the allowed overdue days should resolve your issue. You can enter the allowed day on credit info section of customer. I’m copying for you the help description of the field

Allowed Overdue Days:
The number of overdue days that is allowed for the customer. For example, if you specify 10 days in this field, it will consider the total of unpaid invoices that have exceeded the due date by 10 days as the overdue amount.

Also please refer to help from IFS

https://docs.ifs.com/ifsclouddocs/23r2/GeneralIFSApplications/ActivityEnterCustCreditInfo.htm

Hope this helps

@Furkan Zengin

Please help me understand. I am told that you must have an amount in the “Allowed Overdue Amount” if you want to use the “Allowed Overdue Days” is this true? We prefer to use the Allowed Overdue Days only, are there any prerequisites for this?

Thank yoU!
