Hi,

Requirement: I’m trying to create a Work Task Template that will create a sales line for a minium quantiy of 1 Resource Hour even if the Reported Time is 0.5 hours (without manual intervention).

Set Up: I’ve created a Task Template with a Cost Type Personel and set the WO Invoice Type to Min Qty as per the below.

I created a Work Order connected to this Task Template. I can see the plan line pull in as expected.

However, when I report in the assignment with the actual time of 0.5 and report the Work Task in. The work task is ignoring the Min Qty Work Order Invoice Type and simple adding it on as an extra sales line, both lines are now chargeable with a total time of 0.5 + 1 HOURS - when I just want to charge the customer 1 HOUR minimum.

Line No 813268 (top) is the sales line created from the assignment

Line No 813269 (bottom) is the sales line created from Plan Line on the Work Task Template.

Expected Behaviour: I expected that the total sales amount for this work order to be 1 HOURS of Resource time not 0.5 + 1 HOURS. Below is the description of the Work Order Invoice Type and it doesn’t seem to be working as intended to me.

IFS definition for this Work Order Invoice Type - Min Qty =

“Min Qty - this invoice type indicates that the customer is invoiced with a minimum quantity, regardless of what is reported in the work order. A value is required in the Quantity To Invoice field.”

Is this a BUG or a FEATURE?

Present in Apps 10 Update 17 and Update 23.

Here’s a similar thread….

Thanks for your time.
