What type of visual studio version for IFS Developer Studio?

There’s no requirement to use Visual Studio when working with IFS Developer Studio for IFS Cloud customizations.

IFS Developer Studio is purpose-built (It is built on top of the NetBeans IDE) for the IFS ecosystem and integrates modeling and development tools specifically designed for the IFS Cloud customizations. The tech stack primarily revolves around:

• IFS Marble (for metadata modeling and configurations)

• PL/SQL (for backend/database logic)

• Java (for business logic and service layer extensions)
