What are the pros and cons of using Depots with Parts? What is the ideal approach with this functionality?

Using Parts
Depots can be used to replenish stocks multiple times for multiple resources. You don’t need to use individual pickup activities if you are using Depots.
However, you cannot handle return material through depots.
Eg: It is possible to send parts from a warehouse to depot. But vice versa is not supported.
