Why would a manually scheduled, which has been committed, un-schedule itself from console? Is this expected behaviour? if not, what may cause those issues in our system to behave that way? looking for any insight to this. thanks

That does not sound like expected behaviour. Can you see anything in the event log that tells you who unassigned the activity? If you’re running automatic scheduling, have a look at the scheduling dataset and see if you have the dispatch service enabled.
