Hi everyone,

Our client would like to define the working area of the resource in polygons. From our understand, in PSO, polygons are only used in regards of the Travel Profiles.

Does anyone know if PSO can handle this requirement?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Joana,

I would assume polygons in the sense the travel barriers in travel time profiles.

As per my understanding, using a high number of travel barriers will affect the system. Also in your scenario, you will have to define a travel time profile per resource.

Why the Regions and Regional multipliers cannot be used? It won’t have a graphical representation but if they are setup correctly, result will be the same.

Hi Sajith,

With Regions and Regional Multipliers do you mean Divisions right?

If so, we are using the Divisions to identify the areas, but the client would like to draw them on the map. Some of the areas are not squares or circles.

The client requirement is to be able to identify the geographical areas on drawing them on the map, and not only base categories as Divisions.

Thank you,

Best Regards,
