+13After a place merge in FSM6U9, the place record gets updated with a new modified_dttm and will be sent to the device in 24 hours (currently configured interval for that sync rule) or if someone clicks on sync now.
- place_person doesn't get an updated modified_dttm and therefore will not be sent by the sync rule next time it runs in 3 hours or even if someone clicks on Sync Now. Would this be a limitation of the software or a bug?

As per my understanding, during the place merging process, if the existing place_person record is modified and if you did not see an updated "modified_dttm" then it should be treated as a bug.
