Hello Expert,

Could you please advise on how to handle the following use case in IFS Cloud and PSO?

In our field service operations, we typically assign two or more technicians to a service job at the customer's location. It is only required that one of the technicians possesses all the necessary skills, while the others do not need to meet the same skill criteria.

Is it possible to configure IFS PSO to allocate the activity to a primary technician based on a skill match, while assigning the remaining technicians based on availability and other constraints (excluding skills)?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Bharathraj

If you use PSO with IFS Cloud, create a task with multiple resource demands, where only one has required skills. The demands will be sent to PSO as co-requisite activities i.e., all techs need to be onsite at the same time, but only one needs the skill. In 25R1 you can even specify different durations per demand e.g., the skilled tech for 2 hours, the 2 helpers for 1 hour only.
