Metrix.BusinessServer.DataConnector.DataAccessGateway throw an exception in the system and the system is getting hanged. Even when the system is idle too it throws the same exception.
Any idea why we are getting the above exception

Can you please provide details of the exception? That should then assist in determining what may be causing the issue.

Getting the below exception in the server log:
IntegrationMonitorManager.InstanceLoaded: Attempt to start server resulted in the following error: The type initializer for 'Metrix.Authentication.DataAccessGateway' threw an exception.
QueueManager: FindOverdueMessages encountered the following error: The type initializer for 'Metrix.BusinessServer.DataConnector.DataAccessGateway' threw an exception.
Unable to get current delivery: The type initializer for 'Metrix.BusinessServer.DataConnector.DataAccessGateway' threw an exception.
