Can anyone please help me understand or point me to the documentation on when the ‘Inspection Note’ can be edited in the Work Task general screen? Our users are struggling with this after the upgrade to Apps10. thanks

Inspection Note on work task

The inspection note will just be editable if the Work Task is generated from a PM Action.
Help text for the field:
An inspection note entered in the work task on the work order generated from a PM action. The inspection note entered will be displayed on the maintenance plan line on the PM action corresponding to the work task. If the Generate Note box is checked together with this inspection note on the work task, the inspection note will also be included on the corresponding work task in the next generated work order for same PM action.
