We use the FSM6 Customer Portal and I have lobby tiles but I cannot work out how to be able to select a request from within the customer portal lobby tile.

What configuration is needed in the tile Element Designer or also within the Customer Portal to be able to select and open a request within the Customer Portal?

Hi @AngeloPav ,

Clicking a lobby tile to open a record is controlled by the element's Navigation settings in the Element Designer:

  1. Open the lobby, unlock it, click the gear icon on the tile and select Element Designer.
  2. In the Navigation section, set the screen to open when the element is clicked (for example, the Request screen), and set the search criteria/key so the selected row's request ID is passed to that screen.
  3. Make sure the element's data source returns the key column (e.g. request_id) so the selected request can be identified.
  4. Save the element and refresh the portal.

On the Customer Portal side, confirm the lobby is added through UI Designer -> Dashboard (either Lobby Only Dashboard with the Lobby ID, or an Analytical element with the Lobby ID), and that portal users have the REQUESTCREATEUPDATE role if they need to edit the request, not just view it.

Could you confirm whether the tile is a List or a Counter element? A List element can open the specific request that was clicked. A Counter normally opens a filtered search result instead. If it still doesn't navigate after this, please send a screenshot of the Navigation section and we'll take a look.
