IFS Cloud - FSM Service Management - Failed to Initialize Mobile

Hi All,

We are currently configuring a basic FSM Service Management setup in our 25.2.4 environment and have run into an issue during mobile initialization.

Scenario:

  • Service Request is created successfully
  • Transfer a work task to mobile
  • When logging into the mobile device/application, it does not get past the initialization phase

We tested this using:

  • Active Directory user
  • Standard/non-AD user

Has anyone experienced a similar issue in FSM mobile initialization? Any guidance or known fixes would be greatly appreciated.

I have experienced this issue before with a failing sync; one thing you’re able to try is to disable then re-enable the mobile user. This sometimes prompts the system to start working again.

Also, check to see if you have any failed transactions in IFS Cloud. Search for this screen and you’ll be able to see. Make sure to delete them rather than ignore them as if they’re ignored, then they will always be ignored when that issue occurs which isn’t solving the issue.
