how to delete work task clockings

You are not allowed to delete a clocking record while the clocking is active, as this is the intended application behavior. To delete a clocking record, the record must have the clocking type "Clocked Out." This means the work task resource should first clock out to stop the clocking. Once clocked out, you can then delete the created record from the Work Task Clocking window.

In my scenario, the clocking type is ‘’Clocked Out’’. However, it still does not allow us to delete the line. I have noticed if I change the transaction date to today, it allows us to delete. However, there are lines I can not do this for as they are too progressed. Have you come across this before?
