Hello,

We are working to integrate our field staff deeper into FSM through the tech portal.  We currently have .xls based ‘inspection reports’ our field technicians complete, but we want to bring this into FSM.

We need to create an interface as shown below where a set of instructions and illustrations can be presented along side the entry field.

What is the best way to accomplish this in FSM Tech Portal R6U23 ?

*redacted inspection report

Hi @MKNDANIEL

Did you check the option to use task steps?

Cheers!

We will investigate that as a solution, but it appears those will be isolated bits of data as opposed to a single consolidated report that can be edited / displayed on the screen then reviewed later by a tech review team with out using a report.

Will the tech portal will not allow the ability to embed/display images on the screen?

Hi @MKNDANIEL

AFAIK, You can display images on the screen.

Look at the ‘Parts’ screen or ‘Person’. These screens have embeded images dispalyed.

Cheers!

I have seen those images on the person/place screen but they are associated with an individual record, photo of the person on the person record, or a picture of a machine for the product record.

We are wanting to include a static photo that is native to the page, not the record, is that possible?

In task steps we can link an attachment, but we are not able to display that image on the screen for the user to work from.

Hey @MKNDANIEL

I understand your question now.

I am not aware of a way to achieve this with configurations only.

You can try using the image property in the UI designer and check what is availble there.

Cheers!
