If I want to provide read only access to “in_warrany” field to the request_unit table for the role “TECH”, is it possible to control from role-->function ?
Or the only way to create different page from UI designer with in-warranty read-only access for the role “TECH” ?
Please advise.

Hi,
In roles > functions you can only restrict screen function.
Here you can create customized RMA screen with read only “In warranty” field using UI designer. Then enter your customized screen name under TECH’s role >screen tab.
