My last post on that thread you have mentioned would be your best bet here. Introduce a new status before completed and then set up a process to recur at the same time at the end of each week to move any tasks in this new status to completed. Or set a process to run at the end of the day to move anything that has been in that status for >7 days to completed depending on if you want a rolling week or calendar.

We have a “Ready To Complete” status which covers 80% of the scenarios, but business still wants flexibility to see “Completed” Tasks.

Yes, so you will need to create a new status that fits in between. Something like “complete this week” that it will move to. The task will still be complete it just wont have the specific status of ‘Completed’.

There is no way for you to show completed tasks for just the last week without doing this. Showing completed tasks will show all tasks in the system with the completed system and you will see the system slow to a crawl if not freeze with the amount of information it has to handle.
