We have a requirement from business that they want the visits that are fixed to time and person in PSO to never move in the GANTT-diagram as the day progresses.
Today PSO will move fixed visits based on status of other activities. This makes it hard for the resources planners to follow up on the day, since things are moving around, and sometimes are moved to the next day.

You can use a commit rule to commit the activities say for current shift so that other activities won’t moved by DSE.

You can test a parameter setup like below.
Here, it commits the activities 4 hours before the shift start if travel for the activity starts within 8 hours window. Maximum 20 activities will be committed to one resource per day.
