Iam facing an issue, that when the technician logs in the MWO. On the PSO, the Failed To Logon exception keeps on, even having downloaded/accepted tasks on the technician´s mobile. The exception will clear only when the technician starts executing the activity or in the MWO->Service Status (ShiftOFF/ShiftON). Is it the right way when finishing shift should go off shift on mobile, then after log in the next shift go  On shift?

Manually going on/off shift is one option, however requires a bit of user discipline. On the Scheduling Resource record, have a look at the Logon Method attribute:

The Logon Method is used to control shift logon for scheduling. The Logon Method can be set on Scheduling Resource or Scheduling Resource Type. There are three options for Scheduling Resources:

  • Active Logon which means that the resources will have to actively log on (and off) from their shifts.
  • Auto Logon will automatically log resource on at the start of their shifts, and log them off at the end of their shifts.
  • Blank where no value is set on the Scheduling Resource, and the Logon Method defined on Scheduling Resource Type will be used.
