We are using  IFS Cloud 24R2 and PSO for auto scheduling. our requirements is,

  1. Create Request quickly and assign if resources are free or schedule for future dates using appointment
  2.  PSO dynamically allocate. WFM manually commit recommended by PSO .

client may not prefer to use two systems . Can you please provide following information on dispatch console. i am not able to find proper information .

  1. can we use “Dispatch Console” to show PSO allocations.(like every 1/2 min)
  2. if manually assignment in “Dispatch Console” ,will this information flows to PSO for optimizing requests
  3. in “Dispatch console” bigger screen , we can only see Technicians, is there  any we can see “Technicians and Tasks” in bigger screen.
  4. “Dispatch console” can we make filter Resource / Technicians as per “delivery unit” by Admin and should not modify by WFM .(like pso “OBJECT_GROUP_FILTER” to “Service Delivery Unit”

#1 should work automatically

For #2 and #3 I would rather use the PSO Workbench. (#3 is possible in Dispatch Console Map.)

#4: Can you re-phrase the question? Filtering the technicians by SDU will be possible in 25R1 if that’s the question.

@Alexander Heinze , thanks for your reply .

Regarding 2nd and 3rd , instead of two systems , wants to use only one system. is it possible to send the manual assignment in dispatch console to PSO?

Regarding 4th ,25R1 here WFM to choose filters manually in dispatch console .  Admin want to restrict to see the data only relevant to there resources and activity.(same behavior available in pso using groups ) .  in dispatch console , only admin can assign datasets , no options to assign Service Organization/ Delivery units .

#4 can only be achieved with a filter, which the users could remove.

#1: Simply try it. If you drag and drop in DC, less constraints are checked compared to doing the same in PSO plus you lose a lot of dispatcher productivity (e.g., map, assistance, and multi-monitor). What's the remaining purpose of PSO if you use DC for manual allocation? It all depends on your use case.

Hi @Alexander Heinze  ,

#4) as i mentioned earlier, only admin should setup filter and should not be modified by WFM

#2),#3), dispatch console don't have appointment capabilities. Dispatch Console used only  OnDemand work for today without prior appointments and should have manual assignment .

I would not recommend this mix of DC and PSO. PSO can tick all the boxes whereas DC cannot fulfill several of your requirements.
