We have a survey where end users will send to us via the FSM mobile app, which photos included.
From our end, we would generate a report based on the survey and also include the photos attached.
Is there a function to automatically resize/compress the image for the report to minimize the size of the report?

AFAIK resizing/compressing an image is not supported by configurations. You might want to consider a customisation.
Also, you might want to train the users to use lower resoltion of their camera to produce samller photos.
