On April 1, 2022, Bing Map disappeared and showed a message saying “Unable to connect to Server. Please try again later.”  on both our PROD and TEST 360 Workbench Advanced Mapping tab screen. See attached screenshot. The line routes and nodes for the service techs/drivers still show up on the screen but the map is gone. Could this be caused by Bing Geocode services URL is outdated on our config file, and hence the message “unable to connect”? Please help..

Hi @tnamarcela,

We’ve had this a few times and it does coincide with the Bing Maps Key expiring. Might be worth checking who supplies this, and if it has expired on your account.

It will either get extended or a new key supplied. Once you have the new key it will just need updating in the Parameters in PSO.

Thanks @AdrianEgley. I will confirm this with our IFS support.

This is IFS support's response when I created a case for this issue (error message). Our current version PSO 5.7 has the Bing Map URLs hardcoded into PSO code and unfortunately, have been deprecated. Since we are using PSO-5.7, which is a R&D de-supported version, IFS R&D won't be further accepting any cases on this version for bug corrections. However, the relevant URLs have been updated in the latest PSO release ( PSO-6) to use the latest BING APIs. The solution for us is to upgrade to PS0-6.

Is there anyone out in the community who may be able to answer with a workaround to remedy this issue in PSO 5.7 (without upgrading to PSO 6)? Please advise.Thanks.
