Is there a way to setup resources in a standard task if the work can be executed by two or many resource groups
ex: Delivery and Installation Services
If there is a task for Delivery Service and if Drivers are not available and Technician can deliver the product if he is having the driving licence while he is going for his installation work.
+23There is no option to specify that resource group A or B can do the job.
You could consider an additional resource group “Delivery and Installation Services”, resources can either belong to this plus “delivery” or this plus “installation”. Then use resource type cost or resource type preference to “instruct” PSO to use the cheaper drivers first and only consider technicians when no driver is available. Skill cost may be another option.
