Hi,

I need some help here. 😊I have tried various methods to set up the object connection transformation so that when we attach a document to the external supplier invoice, it should appear in the Man supp invoice. However, it is not working. What am I doing wrong? I would appreciate any advice.

Thank you.

Br

Which version is this? I'm testing in 25R1 and the source LU has many more keys than what you have set up there:

I have no idea on what to map the Load ID to. If it always or often have the same value, you can hard code it:

If you hard code it, make sure to put the right value in there. 1 was just an example.

I had a quick look and I think it's hard to make a simple column-mapping Object Connection Transformation rule for this. There was only one record in the ExtIncInvHead in my environment, and its key ref looks like this:

COMPANY=10^IDENTITY=15^INVOICE_NO=TEST EMPLOYEE FILE 2^INVOICE_TYPE=SUPPEXT^LOAD_ID=179^

I cannot say for sure, but my guess is that the Load ID key at the end will count upwards for every load, so it might not be possible to hard code it.

Simply put: you cannot pull this off, since you don't have values in the manual supply invoice to fulfill all the keys in the source (ExtIncInvHead). Not without coding. A PL/SQL method is needed here.

You can also take another approach and use a custom event to copy the connection to the manual supplier invoice. This is left as an exercise to the reader 🙂

Hi Linda,

I thought that the document was created against Manual Supplier Invoice as part of the Load Process.  This was my experience in Apps9 - not sure if anything has changed in Cloud.
