I wanted to ask if it is possible to preview a pdf document in a new browser window or a new tab (sheet). Currently, the preview runs within the same window/sheet.

When using the Preview(Eye-icon) an Aurena feature is used there, not the browser's own preview feature, That is why the file is displayed on top of the same Aurena page, and not in a new tab of the browser. Currently it is not possible to preview in a new browser window.
If Aurena agent is enabled, download command will download the document and calls out to Windows to open that downloaded file. But, yes that is not “Previewing”
+32Without the Aurena Agent, if you download rather than preview, you will basically get what you want if you set the browser to open PDF files by default.
