Is there av smart way to add people to Persongroup ?

One by one unless you use a migration job.

Then you can multiple select unwanted lines and delete them at one go.

Is there a smart way to add people to these groups, or do we have to add them one by one?

What would “smart” be? What does one by one mean? Someone need to decide each person that should be added to that group, person by person.

Perhaps a custom event could help, triggering on ... something and then adding some person, based on some criteria, to some group, based on some other criteria.
