Hi Experts,

We have below questions from one of the customers and any input is appreciated.

1. What will be the location of DOCUMENT_TICKET_TEMP_PATH if the customer is a hosted instance.
2. What is the migration strategy for documents from IFS V8 to IFS Cloud.
3. DB Schema definition for all tables associated with Document Management

Thank you.

This is not needed in IFS Cloud.

Read up on our File Storage Migration Tool in our technical documentation. This has been discussed several times here on IFS Community.

> 3. DB Schema definition for all tables associated with Document Management

This has also been discussed here several times. Search for "edm_file_tab" and you should find some related posts.

Good luck!

@Mathias Dahl for question #1, is this not needed in Cloud if it is a hosted instance but it is needed if on-premise?

It's not needed at all. I hope any documentation that once mentioned this setting has been removed. If not, we should remove it. And preferably the setting as well.
