Hello all,

How is the media directory/repertory managed in IFS? Specifically, how should media storage be handled, given that I haven't seen a document class assigned to the media category or a specific directory for it?

Wishing you a great day

@ksebf in our latest cloud track, media storage is supported in database or file storage repositories. You can define either of the above type as repository in Application Base Setup\System Setup\System Definitions\Object Properties - by setting for the Object LU - MediaItem, Property name - REPOSITORY to DATABASE or FILE_STORAGE.

Hello diwelk, thanks for you answer but how to indicates the repository address, the path, user, password ?

@ksebf as far as i know it’s only the setting mentioned above.

Any comments @Mathias ?

That's correct, there's nothing more to setup.

Thanks for you answer, but if I setup the Media with a _”File Storage” Repository, I don’t kow where I can enter the adress of this repository.

@ksebf

There is no setup to be done, no address to define.

Unless this is a Remote deployment. They you need to configure File Storage, but that's related to File Storage setup and not Media Library…
