Hi IFS Community,

Our customer is a IFS Managed cloud customer. Our current document file repository id Database. We started moving the documents to Cloud File Storage in TRN environment. In IFS Managed cloud the Cloud file storage is something which only IFS has access and even customer doesn’t have access.. So there is no way to see what is happening there.

I have moved around 15000 files from Database to Cloud File Repository for testing purpose in TRN. Now we have a requirement of cloning PROD to TRN. PROD has no files in cloud file storage repository. In TRN some files moved to cloud FSS and some are in database. I am going to re begin the document transfer in TRN after PROD copy.

In normal database clone request only database copy happen and since there is no FSS in PROD we do not need to initiate new FSS clone request in this case. But below two tables are not replaced in a environment during the cloning.

EDM_LOCATION_USER_TAB
EDM_LOCATION_TAB

But EDM_FILE_TAB , EDM_FILE_STORAGE_TAB , FSS_FILE_TAB copy from PROD to TRN. This make inconsistency. 

Now I cannot delete any Repository id I created in ‘Repositories page’ due to to the transferred document and it give error  from Reference constraints, Does any one has this situation ?

My questions 

1.0 How can I delete the already moved files to cloud file storage  to make new db clone  consistent with the FSS status in PPOD ? 

2.0 I guess after db clone I will be able to delete the repository id called FS1 due to missing references. (Reference_Sys will also copy to TRN from PROD). But Can I expect all the files I moved will also be delectated by deleting File Repository ID or will those documents exists without any reference from db ? 

3.0 Then what will happen when I try transferring same set of files again in TRN after PROD db copy.

4.0 IFS Managed cloud is not responding properly for my specific issue. They keep telling I need to create a separate ticket for FSS clone. But in my case there is nothing in PROD FSS. If I request a Clone for FSS in PROD does any one know will TRN related FSS is cleared by that action.

Please answer if there anyone who came across this scenario. Posting this to DocMan forum since I do not know who should answer this. Is that Frame Work team .. Really appreciate if  DocMan RND can suggest me which queue I should direct this if this is wrong forum
