Hi,
The document revision with a file status “Object in Progress” cannot view the attached documents.
Is there a way to change the file status of a document revision from “object in Progress” to “Check In”?
I tried to detached the errored file and re-attached the same file and it generates new document number, However the document no. with file status “object in progress” is still appearing in the document revision.

Can you try out the below highlighted option
Before that you can remove the file already checked out by clicking Undo Checkout Document as well

Does anyone know what causes a document to have a status of ‘operation in progress’.
We attach documents to transactions to save a hard copy of the transaction. ie supplier invoice, purchase quote etc. We have several attached documents with a status of ‘operation in progress’ and I’m trying to figure out why.
