Question

Approval Basic Data

We are using approval process and even the user is added as a person to approve, the approval button is not enabled for the user.

I have verified their permissions and confirmed they match those of another user who can approve without issue.

Is there any basic data missing for this user?

This is in APP 9

If you select the row the buttons should be enabled.

With the row not selected, the buttons are greyed out.

Did you also check the permission sets?

Thanks for the reply,

When the line is selected, it does not allow to approve. So I was just wondering if there’s some sort of a basic data to be created for this?

Yes I did,

I granted this user all the permissions which my user has, but still no luck.
My user can approve these without any issue.

Then click with rmb on “Icon”.

If the icon is red then you haven’t the permission to approve it.

If it is green:

At first click on the icon then on button “Approve”.

Is the User for which the Approve/Reject buttons are not active connected to the Person listed on the Approval step? If not, there is the issue.
