We have a user who changed her name and the new name was not renamed but created as a new user name (ID)

That caused problem now when editing earlier made attachments (with the old ID).

Is there a way to grant permission the the new user to be able to edit her previously made attachments?

It is in APP9 Inventory Part and from File Operations she would need the right to edit the attachments she did with her old ID.

Any suggestions?

Hi @Kenneth Gaddnas,

I think the best way is to change the name of the old user!

When that is not possible anymore there is an option to change the document responisible for multiple documents at once. At the document revisions window use RMB ‘Change Responsible Person’ then select the new person. Then it should work again.

Another option is that you use the document access via document person groups. Via that way you only have to add the new person to all relevant groups, the access template will automatically update the document access on teh relavnt document revisions.

@Kenneth Gaddnas Did you solve the problem? A user that is granted the DOCMAN_ADMINISTRATOR permission set should be able to change the access of any document to the new user.
