I am doing some experimenting trying to solve a problem where specific sales parts for specific customers can only be made with raw materials from a supplier authorized by the customer.  Think of it as making customer-specific parts made from raw aluminum supplied by ALCOA and that the customer has approved use of certain ALCOA raw materials.

I was experimenting the use of the supply code “Production Schedule” from a customer order line to determine if that customer order line is “pegged” to a particular production schedule in a manner similar to how customer order lines are “pegged” to the shop orders on which the parts are built.

I created a customer order for a production schedule part and released the customer order.  But I did not receive a production schedule.  What am I missing?

Thanks!

With the following setup I had a PS generated when I released the order.

  1. Inventory Part is connected to a Production Line (Parts tab).
  2. Inventory Part has a Schedule Percentage >0 defined on the Schedule Attributes tab of the Production Line.

Unfortunately, the PS is not pegged to the order line; it is not seen as a Supply Object for the line, nor does the Production Schedule Line ID appear on the CO Line.
