The External Transport Lead time is not impacting the Planned Ship Date on Customer Orders when it gets adjusted.  We utilize the Supply Chain Matrix to get the Lead time based on our forwarder.  We have a calendar that is exploded/generated in IFS associated with the Ship Via.  We have it working in a test system, can’t figure out what is missing in Production and we are going live on Monday.  Any ideas?

Hi @jrauh, did you check the supply code in the customer order line? Because external transport lead time comes into play to affect the planned ship date if the supply code in the customer order line is Purchase order transit or internal purchase transit as external transport lead time between your site and an internal supply site or with an external supplier will affect the planned ship date.

External transport lead time between your site and the customer, and external transport lead time between the external supplier/supply site and the customer (when the supply code is purchase order direct or internal purchase direct) won’t affect the planned ship date.

Also if an external transport calendar is defined for the ship via code, the external transport lead time is measured in work days only. If no calendar is defined, the lead time will include weekends and holidays also.
