Hi,

 

It seems the option ‘Pick by choise’ used from shipment - Report picking of picklist lines does not work if material is customer owned?

Is that a limitation to this functionality?

We are running IFS 10 upd 3

There is a recent patch released in App10 UPD12, to address Issue in Pick by choice option when the parts are customer owned.

Therefore, the ‘Pick by choise’ must be available for customer owned stock  as well. But for your specific scenario need to be checked further .

Tittle- Issue in Pick by chocie option when the parts are customer owned

Prerequisites:

1. The Pick by Choice list in the Site/Extended Site Info/Inventory/General tab must have been set to Not Reserved, Not Pick Listed, Not on Printed Pick List, or Allowed.
2. Customer-owned part to be in inventory

Test Plan:
user: maalk/maalk
1- Create CO -> Add CO line for a part which has ownership Customer Owned -> Release -> Reserve -> Create Picklist
2- Search for the picklist in Report Picking of Picklist lines window -> RMB -> Pick by choice
3- In the pop-up window -> Add a line -> Search LOV for the location
Ex: CO - P2139961, Picklist - 211940
No results will be shown even though there are stocks in hand

Solution: LOV to return inventory parts in hand with the ownership - Customer Owned

Can you check the above BUG description and see whether is that the same scenario you referring to?


This is exactely our issue so we will take this further reporting a case to IFS support to see if we can get this delivered to us as a single patch.
