When creating a new business opportunity we have noticed that some customer ID’s with a active market value is not being pulled into the field market on the business opportunity. Any reason why this may be happening?

In order to fetch the market field in BO, you need to following basic data.

And particular market code should be active.

However if you are having this issue in Aurena, the following bug 151159 has been created to fix this issue in Aurena

I believe they may be setting it to empty during creation of the Business Opportunity because I followed the same steps you all showed me above and it worked with no issue.

 @Susith Setunga  @Rasika Lakmal

I have found the common scenario for when the market field is set empty in business opportunity. This issue is only happening when the business opportunity is created through estimate. Our IFS environment is on AppsUPD10.

Hi @DavidWiafe ,

What was the steps you used to create an opportunity from an Estimate?

May be I can check if this can be recreated in the latest update level

Hi @DavidWiafe

I believe you created the opportunity using below steps,

And it seems as you stated this issue is still there in the latest APP10 version (UPD13)

So please report this to IFS support via a case
