When I first login to IFS Cloud (24R1) and release a customer order I receive this error “Execution exception.sender thread caused by ifs.fnd.connect.senders .connectsender$temporary failure exception: exception while sending data caused by: java.net.socketexception: connection reset.”  I release the order again and the error goes away.  It seems to be the first time I log into the application.  It doesn’t bother me but is not acceptable for end users.

We do utilitize Avalara integration, so I am wondering if it has something to do with that.

Hi Hercellis,

As you believe this could be an issue with the Avalara connection, note that a similar error message can appear when the routing address configuration fails. It seems that after the first attempt, the connection is successfully re-established.

Please first verify the Avalara routing rule & addresses. If no abnormalities are found, it would be best to raise an IFS support case if the issue is still not resolved.
