Is it possible to establish a default picking location by Customer?
I have the same product being held on site and at a remote warehouse.
I want to use the Customer Order Automatic Reserve functionality but need to ensure Customer A’s Parts are reserved from the remote warehouse and Customer B’s from the site location
We will not be using shipments to process Customer A’s deliveries

For Customer A, you might want to use ‘Two Staged Picking’ where the goods are picked from an inventory location and moved to a packing station (i.e. Shipment Location) where they are picked again (i.e packed) before being delivered. rKindly note I am not 100% sure if Remote Warehouse allows 2 stage picking though]
For the Customer B where you claim Shipments can be used, probably you can have the ‘Confirm Shipment Location’ mentioned below checked. Thereby the user will be prompted to select a desired shipment location at the time of picking.

The expectation is to reserve the stock at the time of releasing the customer order - well in advance of the picking stage therefore this would not resolve the issue.
