Business Opportunity won/lost

We are using Business Opportunities, the Product Estimator and Sales Quotations.

If we create a Business Opportunity for an existing part and convert it to a Sales Quotation, when we update the Sales Quotation lines for won/lost, it updates the Business Opportunity lines with the same information.

If we create a Business Opportunity for a new part and run it through the Product Estimator then convert to a Sales Quotation, when we update the Sales Quotation, it does not update the Opportunity Lines.  There appears to be no way to update individual opportunity lines if the product estimator was used.

Is there a way to do this that we are missing?

I believe the issue was previously reported to R&D and they created Bug ID# 150889.  Bug ID# 150889 was then cancelled, stating the Bug is fixed from Bug ID#150973.

Bug ID# 150973 is a Severity 2 Bug, included in APP10 UPD 8.  Once you get the fix for Bug ID# 150973, your problem should be resolved.

Please let me know if this information helps you to resolve your issue.

Thanks,

Janet

Bug ID# 150889 - Sales Quotation Line status changes is not reflected to Estimated Opportunity Line

Test Plan
1. Create an estimate with an item and add a customer.
2. Calculate and bring estimate to confirmed status
3. In the deliverables tab, make sure that a sales part is connected to the item and then create a business opportunity.
4. Create sales quotation from business opportunity line ( It is important to create from line level)
5. Go to created sales quotation. Make line status and header status both won - You
shall notice SQ status is shown in General tab and now head back to BO In BO line you can notice
now status is still "In Progress" and not in line with SQ status in general tab. (If you create SQs from BO without starting from Estimate, functionality works as expected.)
6. Repeat step 1-4 but set the SQ line status to lost. BO line status is still In Progress.
7. Repeat step 1-4 and then create a CO from the SQ instead of changing status manually. Still the BO line status is In Progress and it links to the SQ. Since a CO was created from the SQ, the BO line should have been linked to the CO and the status should be set to won.
