Seeking Guidance: IFS Build Place DEV Environment Cloning or Backup Tools

Hi everyone,

I’m working with an IFS Build Place DEV environment that has expired after approximately 30–40 days. I have access to Build Place and would like to create a new environment by cloning or replicating the existing DEV environment, preserving its configurations, customizations, and data as much as possible.

I’d like to know if there are any existing tools, utilities, or extensions available in the IFS Marketplace that can help with this requirement.

Specifically:

  • Is there any Marketplace tool available to clone, back up, or restore an IFS Build Place environment?

  • Can an existing environment be replicated after it has expired?

  • Are there any tools or utilities that can help migrate configurations and data to a newly created environment with minimal manual effort?

If anyone has developed or used a tool for this purpose, or has a relevant Marketplace solution they can share, I would greatly appreciate your recommendations or guidance.

Thanks in advance for your help!
