Hi All,

Can anyone share Data Migration Manager> Template Project file for 23R2 and if you have 24R1 as well?

Hi, for some reason my CUSTOMER LU doesn’t give me all the underlaying views - I’m missing CUSTOMER_INFO even though I have run the command Create Table Defintion. All other views are created. Any idea of what could cause this?  See attached file

@gabalk  and @Nirogini Janstin

I imported the Data Migration Manager Project Export Template File using the files provided in this conversation. After doing that I would have expected that this template would show up in the “Based On Template Project” combo box.

Yet, I still see nothing

Any idea of what could be wrong here?

Never mind… I see that the “Based on Template Project” is meant for a different purpose.

Actually, after Importing the Template I do notice that tons of new Migration Objects and Target Tables have been incorporated into my Migration Project, so it seems that this is the way it is meant to work.

Sorry about the confusion! :)

Hi @msurasky-price ,

Not sure how you imported it. But the correct way is to first create a Template project. For example , say 24R1_TEMPLATE project and then import the file against the template project.
Then you should create a new project based on the previously created template project.

I’m not (yet) out of the woods @GaSoGB

Here is the thing, I followed those instructions but even after creating my Template project and importing the Project File…

… when I create a new project, I still don’t see my template :P

Is it maybe the fact that I don’t have yet connected environments affecting my ability to use that new template? (I just created it, flipped the “Template Project” switch and imported the DMM Project Export File… maybe I missed something?)
