I am working on a specification to automate the return of some purchase parts.
But in the 22R2 in the “register inspection results” window, the toggle “finalize shipment” is not there any more… I am missing something.

In 22R2 release , it has been introduced supplier return via normal shipment process to enhance more outbound function . So this “Finalize Shipment” toggle is no longer available , but you can achieve the same behavior using Shipment type to automate the process . Shipment type can be defaulted in supplier/Address/Outbound Address Information.
