For our process to work, all our purchase parts chould have Automatic Order Closing ticked off.
But every new part created has this setting ticked.
Where can we set the standard value for a new purchase part (created automatically by our pre-preparation dep).
Today we have to manually change every purchase part.

I do not know about a place to change the default, but it is possible to mass-update the setting in the Purchase Parts overview window with the Find and Replace functionality.

Thank you Linda. We have a lobby element and fix them manually, but we create many new purchase parts every day so it would make more sense if we could set the default somewhere.
For instance, we can set automatic order close defaults on Shop order in the base data, but not on purchase order.
Is custom event the only way to go then if we want it automatically?

Custom event seems a logical solution otherwise you can use template option if it suits with your business process.
