Hi,

Each of the Control Plan Data Points has an Inspection Code = ‘A’ (100% Inspection).

This means that when you create an analysis for an inventory control plan, it will be for the entire quantity on hand (137).

I hope that this helps.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. The total amount comes from the amount on hand.

Best Regards.

HELLO,

We changed our inspection code from A to C, but some analyzes still analyze large sample size. Why might this happen?

Hi,

This is a screen shot from IFS Cloud but basically it will be the same in IFS Apps10.

You need to check how the ‘Inspection Type’ and ‘Inspection Percentage/Qty’ is set up for your Inspection Code ‘C’

Is it ‘Percentage’ or ‘Quantity’?

Also, check the settings in your Control Plan - Inventory data points

Hi,

The data is correct and the exam type quantity is selected, but the problem persists.

Hi,

Would it be possible to provide more details of your set up and a small test plan?

I have tried to replicate in a couple of different scenarios and the system seems to work as expected.

This is the Quality Basic Data - Inspection Codes

Here is the Control Plan - Inventory, each Data Point has an Inspection Code = ‘C’

There is currently a Quantity on Hand = 100

Create an Analysis

Observe that the Sample Size = 1 for each of the Data Points

Is your part Serial Tracked/Lot Batch Tracked?

Can you show the quantity on hand information?

How do you create the analysis?

Many thanks!

Hi @Richard Owen ,

Part Serial Tracked.

We follow the same steps as you, but the results are different.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback.

In that case, I think you need to log a ticket with IFS Customer Services so that this issue can be investigated in more detail.

Best Regards
