We are trying to get Safety Lead time (on inventory part/planning tab) and Expected Lead time (on Inventory Part/Acquisition tab) to work based on workdays (based on a defined calendar) and not on calendar days. Is there somewhere that I can do this?

I can answer part of your question. If you would like to work with calendar days, I propose you to use the ‘Earliest Unlimited Supply Date’ (on Inventory Part/Acquisition tab) instead of the Expected Lead time (on Inventory Part/Acquisition tab). The ‘Earliest Unlimited Supply Date’ can be calculated when you run or schedule the ‘Calculate Earliest Unlimited Supply Date’ job.

You might be able to define such a calendar and connect it specifically to your required parts before calculating the lead time. This will take in to consideration the workdays rather than calendar days as stated. You might be able to define the “Manufacturing Calendar” in the “Site” window as such so as to get this calendar by default.
