When creating a New Maintenance Purchase Requisition from a Work Task, it populates WO into the requisitioner field.

I would like this to default to blank but required, and use the dropdown list requiring the creator to enter the appropriate data.

I was able to get it to default to blank and required by deactivating the Update step in that field, but it would not take any of the list options.

Hi @TTRACY

  1. What actions did you take it to make blank on default?
  2. Does the list show the values that were available previously?
If yes, your issue is that the ones you select are not getting registered?

Please let me know, I might be able to answer your query.

Best Regards,
Charana

Thank you for the quick response.  I removed the Copy under the Update function for Work Order Requis Group Field Set.  It now leaves it blank.  The list of options are available from the drop down, but when you click on one it leaves the field blank.  See attachment.

I am starting to think the only option is a custom event and event action to set to NULL?
