Hi Team

Can we set up an automatic feature in IFS cloud to change a part's status to Inactive after a certain period of inactivity(assuming no transactions)?

Thanks

@DivyaSubramanian there's no such functionality. You could write a custom event action to do this and then schedule it to run periodically.

What would be the reason for this? For example u could have some parts in stock that haven't been transacted in the last 1 year. Does that mean the part must be set inactive? This way the stock on hand will be kinda stuck...

Hi Marcel,

Thank you for your response. We're focusing on marking items with zero stock as inactive if there haven't been any transactions for a specific duration. We wanted to see if there’s a standard job that could handle this, ensuring our MRP results are more streamlined.

Thanks
