Master parts have manufacturers. A number of them have been combined in the real world (either consolidated or bought or whatever). What would your idea be how to generate a new manufacturer and move the ‘old’ manufacturer parts under the new one?

I think I have some steps that help me.
I prepared an Excel migration job that inserts data in a new migration conversion list.
It contains the old manufacturer as the old value and, you guessed it right, the new value contains the manufacturer number that the old one has to merge to.
In an after loop on the Excel migration job, another migration job is started that takes the conversion list values as input and uses them to prepare new rows of data.
