I have tried setting up the inventory part and the inventory part planning data with different settings.
I can only get two types of orders and status:
Purchase Order Released Status
Purchase Req Planned Status
Is there any other options? We would like it to go to a Purchase Order in planned status for review before releasing.

As I remember, there exists an old LCS bug 75986, connected to LCS solution 157043. The Manufacturing team created this bug at that time, and it clearly explains that the intention in IFS Core has always been to create the PO in status Released. This is also further described in the old LCS solution 207066.
Therefore, with the current design, the intention is to create the PO in status 'Released', and there is no option to create it in status 'Planned'. That would be a new enhancement request to introduce as an option.

Hi Tim, as a workaround you could look into creating a dedicated Order Processing Type that would release these requisitions and convert them to planned purchase orders for you:
