Item gets Reserved while Receiving IFS10

While Receiving an item (Register Arrivals) the whole qty is being Reserved automatically,in IFS10

In APP8 we used to Reserve manually after Receipt..

I’m just thinking how the following check behaves in the given demand lines.

This check will rule how the received qty will behave against the pegged demand line.

I’m not quite sure when this check was introduced in the first place. But doubt that this check is making the different in two version.

I think the reply would differ depending on the test case involved.

Like the receiving location type, project connected/not, what type of a pegging involved in purchasing … so on.

So it would be really helpful to hear a descriptive test case in order to understand more.

Also let me know how we can disable this permanently please ..I see that its pre-checked while raising a demand..
