Hello,

we have a forecast flow all with Model: “EWMA Level”. I have received a manual forecast from a customer, which I have loaded in the demand planner by using a migration job and the external import function of the server. That worked fine. But I then changed the forecast model also with the use of a migration job. In the demand planner the model indeed was changed. But the system forecast was still there which normally is not the case for this forecast model. I grouped all items and changed the forecast model again to see if the system forecast was updated to 0. But this was not successful. Someone any idea of what I do wrong?

It seems the forecast model change was successfully reflected in Demand Planner. Ideally the model change should do the job. However, since the change was done through a migration job, it may not have triggered the same forecast recalculation or cleanup logic that is normally executed when changing the model through the Demand Planner client.

Therefore, the system forecast values currently visible are most likely previously calculated forecast values that remained after the model change. The suggested next step is to run the Create Forecast job for once if possible and verify whether the system forecast is recalculated or cleared according to the new model.
